July 20, 2009 marked the 30th year anniversary for the establishment of thai Parkerizing Company. The Company is the core in Asian market with specialization in Chemical products.
Moreover, the company expands its business into other areas such as metal surface improvement and coating with phosphate and etc. In last year, not only the global financial crisis but also the political unstability affected Thai economy badly. Such similar occurent before in the past, but the company can cope quite well recovery in this year. Given the current situation, the company has invested in a new chemical product factory and a phosphate coating since last year. The company also invested building a heat treatment factory and a phosphate coating factory at Hemaraj industrial zone in Eastern seaboard. Both plants started to Operate in last January. Incorporated with new technologies, both factories can respond well with customers' demands in addition to the services provided by the chemistry department office.
We hope that we will meet all of our valuable customers' demands with our quality products and excellent service through reasonable prices from our new factories.
Six years ago when we celebrated our 25th anniversary, we set up a social event that
1. Organized a seminar about cutting-edge technology in surface improvement and heat treatment
2. Provided scholarships for students to study in chemistry and material science engineering at 6 leading universities. The company gave out in 51 scholarships, each worth 30,000 baht.
3. Established the Parker Chair Professor grant for university faculties who reseach in surface meterial improvement. The company gave out 3 research grants with 200,000 bath each.
4. Established Park Best Paper Award for the 4 best dissertation for student who research in heat treatment and corrosion.
5. Supported educational scholarships for those student who cannot afford to pay their tuition. The company provided 150-180 scholarships for students in all three levels, primary shcool, secondary school, and high school is different provinces such as Nongbualampoo, Nongkhai, and Udonthani. Each scholarship is worth between 3,000 to 5,000 baht. In face the company just increased the schlorship from 2,000 baht to 3,000 baht this year.
Moreover, on our 25th anniversary, we also bought the analyzing instrument, which would help expedite analyses to customers as well as develop personal skills, for thai Technical Center. Their work proved to be faster than what were derived in Japan, apparently. For the time being, we are recognized as the reliable center, which is able to support and serve the increasing number of customers in ASEAN and India at an efficient speed.
Our business aims at protecting erosion and caring on metal surface. By challenging the policy of "keep earth clean" and "utilize nature wisely". It is, in fact, a kind of work, which does not show up, but is significant to industry mostly. We trust that our intention to continue improving business of Thai Parkerizing will benefit both customers and our society in the long run.
