The SALT SPRAY TESTER is a device used for testing corrosion resistance of metals, painted workpieces, and anti-rust coated workpieces. It operates by spraying salt vapor or salt mist to simulate environmental conditions that cause corrosion. The testing method involves placing specimens in a test chamber according to the required standards, then spraying salt solution onto the specimens to examine resulting changes, such as peeling, blistering, or surface alterations of painted workpieces, and to evaluate the occurrence of red rust or white rust. The testing process is controlled under standardized conditions.
