Details
Scratch resistance and adhesion testing of coatings is an importance quality control measure. It evaluates the ability of coatings and materials to resist wear and abrasion. The principle is moving a stylus across the sample surface with increasing linear force until fracture point. The critical load (LC) at the point of failure is then analyzed through images taken with a microscope.

Usage Limitations
-The sample surface must be flat.
-The sample weight must not exceed 500 g.
-The sample dimensions must not exceed 40 mm x 40 mm (width x length).
